2017 Giant ToughRoad SLR 1

Hit top speeds on rough roads, or conquer an unpaved mountain pass. This agile machine lets you do it all. From ripping fast gravel roads to long-distance tours, ToughRoad SLR is all about big adventure on unpredictable terrain. Built on a superlight ALUXX SLR frame and fast-rolling 700c wheels, it has an agile chassis and tough, trail-worthy features. The D-Fuse seatpost adds compliance, and the bike is fitted with wide tires to smooth out rough terrain. Customized front and rear racks accommodate multiple bags for long trips, so you can extend the ride as far as your legs will take you.

      Comments:

I just rode this bike heavily packed on the Great a Divide Mountain Bike Route for 1000 miles. This bike totally held up to the challenge (with the slight exception of weak welded link of rear rack -easily fixed with zip ties). It took all the rough trails without complaints and no issues. I love the easy shifting and am looking forward to taking it home.
