Just because winning an XC World Cup isn't on your to-do list, doesn't mean you don't value performance and comfort. Recon 2.0 is your shoe. Inspired by S-Works Recon, with Body Geometry comfort and efficiency, Recon 2.0 puts all that performance within easy reach. Using our exclusive STRIDE toe-flex technology, the nylon outsole uses a TPU-injected forefoot for natural movement off-bike, while still providing a stiffness index of 6.0 for in-the-saddle performance. We've also lifted the heel for an even more natural feeling while walking. To create traction off the bike in wet or dry, gravel or dirt, we've covered the nylon outsole with our SlipNot compound. If the traction's needed in the wet, you can also rest easy knowing the XPEL mesh used through the Recon 2.0 won't get bogged down with water and will dry exceptionally quickly. No more wet shoes the morning after a wet ride. An L6-Snap Boa and a Velcro forefoot closure ensure micro-adjustable comfort with a secure fit designed for all-day comfort and performance, whether your ride calls for open gravel, twisting single track, and more than your fair share of hike-a-bike. - Body Geometry sole and footbed are built with purpose and backed by science to boost power, increase efficiency, and reduce the chance of injury by optimizing hip, knee, and foot alignment. - Injection STRIDE toe-flex technology allows for natural toe movement off-bike but remains stiff for pedaling: Stiffness index 6.0 - Welded upper reduces seams for superior step-in comfort. - BOA L6-Snap dials for on-the-fly micro-adjustment. - SlipNot rubber tread for confident traction on all terrain. - Two-bolt cleat pattern fits all major MTB pedals. - Approximate weight: 357g (1/2 pair, Size 42)

The Recon 3.0 is all about putting the legendary performance of our S-Works Recon - power transfer, comfort, light weight, style - in a package perfect for the XC and gravel rider. Starting with Body Geometry, Recon 3.0 delivers comfort and efficiency, with features that stand-out off the beaten path. Looking for in the saddle speed as well as off-bike performance? Recon 3.0 mates a carbon outsole with a Pave-inspired glass fiber forefoot to create Carbon STRIDE toe-flex, which lets your foot function naturally off the bike, yet still provides incredible power transfer with a stiffness index of 10.0. Whether you're flying up a run-up on the 'cross course or strolling into the brewhouse post ride, STRIDE toe-flex is a game changer. We know venturing off-road means venturing into the unknown, so we've given the Recon 3.0 XPEL Mesh to create a comfortable fit that sheds water, keeping the shoe light and making it dry as fast as it rides. Our SlipNot compound provides full rubber coverage of the outsole for off bike traction on any surface, with open treads to eject mud. Dual L6-Snap Boas and a Velcro forefoot closure ensure micro adjustable comfort with a secure fit designed for all day comfort and performance, whether your ride calls for open gravel, twisting single track, and more than your fair share of hike-a-bike. - Body Geometry sole and footbed are built with purpose and backed by science to boost power, increase efficiency, and reduce the chance of injury by optimizing hip, knee, and foot alignment. - Carbon STRIDE toe-flex technology allows for natural toe movement off-bike but remains stiff for pedaling: Stiffness Index 10.0) - Fully-welded upper reduces seams for superior step-in comfort. - Independent BOA L6-Snap dials for on-the-fly micro-adjustment. - SlipNot rubber tread for confident traction on all terrain with removable toe studs. - Two-bolt cleat pattern fits all major MTB pedals. - Approximate weight: 355g (1/2 pair, Size 42)

What makes the perfect cycling shoe? Is it exceptional power transfer? Superior Comfort? Undeniable style? The simple answer is 'yes' to all of the above. With the S-Works 7, you get a shoe with no compromises. We took a no holds barred approach to transferring every bit of your power to the pedals. The lighter and stiffer Powerline carbon sole is new and brought to you by the same team that developed Rider-First Engineering. Why's this special? Because it led to their lightest and stiffest carbon outsole to date. A completely refined Padlock Heel, meanwhile, packs in more comfort with the same exceptional heel hold that you found in the previous iteration. And finally, the space-grade Dyneema material used in the upper doesn't stretch when pulled on, making sure that your foot stays where it's supposed to. With these all features combined, you can be sure that Specialized kept in line with the motto "every watt is sacred." In the comfort arena, Specialized kept all of the Body Geometry features you know and love, like the Longitudinal Arch, Varus Wedge, and Metatarsal Button. Each one of these features have been ergonomically designed and scientifically tested to not only boost power, but also to increase efficiency and reduce the risk of injury. They also took luxury into account by designing the S-Works 7 to have form that complements its function, so you'll find seams that are bonded together, rather than sewn, cleaning up the lines and contouring to your foot with slipper-like comfort. The custom CNC'd alloy BOA dials add some panache, but they also feature durable spring clutch internals and precise, one-millimeter micro-adjustments that let you perfectly dial in your fit. The S-Works 7 embodies everything Specialized knows about footwear, compacted into one shoe–no compromises, no shortcuts, just explosive speed and superior comfort. - Body Geometry sole and footbed are ergonomically designed and scientifically tested to boost power, increase efficiency, and reduce the chance of injury by optimizing hip, knee, and foot alignment. - Specialized's stiffest and lightest FACT Powerline carbon plate maximizes power transfer: Stiffness Index 15.0 - Dyneema Mesh is trapped between layers of four-way stretch mesh and TPU to create no-stretch zones for the ultimate connection and comfort. - Independent alloy BOA S3-Snap dials for on-the-fly micro-adjustment, backed by the BOA Lifetime Guarantee. - PadLock heel construction cradles the heel and is proven to improve acceleration - Titanium alloy cleat nuts can rotate to position pedal/cleats 5mm rearward. - Non-slip, replaceable heel tread with internally recessed screws for security. - Form Fit last with a roomy toe box for the ultimate in connectivity and comfort. - Three-bolt cleat pattern fits all major road pedals. - Approximate weight: 224g (1/2 pair, Size 42)

When the moment comes for an attack in the hills, a long solo move, or a full-gas sprint for the line, every watt counts, which is why we designed the S-Works Ares to be the most efficient and powerful performance shoe ever made. We combined decades of Body Geometry development with obsessive innovation working with the world's best athletes to completely reimagine the race shoe. An entirely new, patent-pending closure system, Dyneema-reinforced tongueless sock, and ultra-stiff FACT Powerline carbon outsole eliminate foot roll, reduce pressure on tendons, and transfer every ounce of power to the pedals for unprecedented performance and comfort. It's 1% faster than any shoe we've ever made, and at the finish line, that's all that matters. - The key to more comfort, fewer injuries, and higher power output comes from our ergonomically designed, scientifically tested Body Geometry features: Longitudinal Arch, Varus Wedge, and personalized insoles with a Metatarsal Button. When used in harmony, these three features align the hip, foot, and knee, while also limiting medial/lateral knee movement and maintaining good circulation down to your toes. - Patent-pending closure design secures the foot for extreme, out-of-saddle efforts, locking the metatarsals and preventing lateral roll. - Dyneema is sandwiched between layers of synthetic mesh and TPU to create no-stretch zones for the ultimate connection and comfort. - Our stiffest and lightest FACT Powerline carbon plate maximizes power transfer: Stiffness Index 15. - Independent BOA Li2 Fit System for on-the-fly micro-adjustment, backed by the Boa Guarantee. - PadLock heel construction cradles the heel and is proven to improve acceleration. - Non-slip, replaceable heel tread with internally recessed screws for security. - Form Fit last with a roomy toe box for the ultimate in connectivity and comfort. - Titanium alloy cleat nuts can rotate to position cleats 5mm rearward and fits all major 3-hole road pedals. - Approximate weight: 220g (1/2 pair, Size 42)

For the closure, we added a single, lightweight Boa L6 dial that features tool-free snap replacement capability while also providing simple, on-the-fly micro-adjustments. - Body Geometry sole construction and footbeds are ergonomically designed and scientifically tested to boost power, increase efficiency, and reduce chance of injury by optimizing hip, knee, and foot alignment. - With a 6.0 Stiffness index, the injection-molded nylon composite sole is engineered to be moderately stiff and plenty light. - Lightweight Boa L6 Fit System for on-the-fly micro-adjustment, backed by the Boa Guarantee. - Synthetic upper for supple feel over the foot. - Reflective heel elements increase your visibility to motorists in low-light conditions. - Three-bolt cleat pattern fits all major road pedals. - Approximate weight: 290g (1/2 pair, Size 42)

The Torch 2.0 Road shoes are all about comfort—well, comfort and performance that is. Due to the materials, road shoes often feel stiff and uncomfortable. We decided to address this annoyance head on, though. To do so, we've implemented a 100% mesh and TPU construction on the Torch 2.0 that allows for more wiggle room in the toe box and a less constrictive, sock-like feel. The upper is then paired with our medium-stiffness FACT carbon sole and a rubber heel and toe that provide the perfect degree of off-the-bike traction. For the closure, we added a single lightweight Boa® IP1 dial that features tool-free snap replacement capability, while also providing simple, on-the-fly micro-adjustments. - Body Geometry sole construction and footbeds are ergonomically designed and scientifically tested to boost power, increase efficiency, and reduce chance of injury by optimizing hip, knee, and foot alignment. - Carbon sole with a 7.0 Stiffness Index is engineered to be moderately stiff, yet light with a rubber heel and toe for off-the-bike traction. - Lightweight Boa® IP1 Fit System for on-the-fly micro-adjustment, backed by the Boa Guarantee. - Mesh and TPU upper for a supple fit. - Three-bolt cleat pattern fits all major road pedals. - Approximate weight: 235g (1/2 pair, Size 42)
$225.00 - $230.00
From the outset of the Torch 3.0 Road shoe design process, our goal was to create a performance offering as feature-packed as any top-end shoe. The challenge, however, was pulling this off at a palatable price. In order to achieve this, we utilized three strategically placed materials on the uppers that are welded together—TPU and mesh in the front and synthetic leather in the rear. This makes for a more comfortable and supportive front of the shoe. A stiff rear and heel cup, meanwhile, lock down your heel and keep all of your watts going into the pedals as efficiently as possible. This refined upper is combined with our legendary FACT carbon fiber sole to further ensure an efficient power transfer. Finally, we topped the Torch 3.0 off with two Boa S2-SV Snap dials for zonal closure, and a precise fit that leads to all-day comfort. - Body Geometry sole construction and footbeds are ergonomically designed and scientifically tested to boost power, increase efficiency, and reduce chance of injury by optimizing hip, knee, and foot alignment. - FACT carbon composite sole and torsion box construction is directionally rigid for outstanding power transfer: Stiffness Index 8.5. - Dual Boa S2-SV Snap dial closure for on-the-fly micro-adjustment, backed by the Boa Lifetime Guarantee. - Mesh, TPU, and synthetic layer upper are placed in specific zones for comfort and lock-down, and are thermobonded for a superior fit. - Standard Fit for support and all-day comfort. - Three-bolt cleat pattern fits all major road pedals. - Approximate weight: 248g (1/2 pair, Size 42)
